Dental Implants

Dental implants are titanium screws placed in the jawbone for aesthetic and functional purposes in partial or total tooth deficiencies. This treatment option is preferred by millions of people worldwide. The implants used today are developed with the latest technological developments, based on biological and biomechanical principles and have proven success. The five-year success rate of implants is reported to be 98% in the literature.

Compared to conventional treatments, the advantages of implant treatment are that it eliminates the need to damage healthy neighboring teeth in bridge restorations, helps preserve jaw structure and bone tissue, makes it more possible to use fixed treatments instead of removable treatment materials, and allows the complete preservation of removable dentures. Individuals may be deemed suitable for dental implant treatment depending on a detailed examination by dental specialists. In this process, planning is done by considering many criteria. An ideal implant patient is usually a patient who has anatomically adequate bone structure, whose systemic condition is under control and who has been informed about the treatment.

During the operation phase, the implants are placed under aseptic conditions and local (regional) anesthesia. This anesthesia is the same as that given to the patient in a normal tooth extraction. Routine surgical operations are then performed. The average time for the implant to fuse to the bone is 3-5 months and may vary from patient to patient. Following the fusion process, procedures similar to those for normal dentures are followed, so that the patient receives new, aesthetically pleasing and functional teeth. This is a long-lasting treatment when provided by qualified specialists and good patient care.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are porcelain sheets of material that are bonded to the front of the teeth. This method is a reasonable option because a very small amount of tooth tissue needs to be scraped off in order to bond the veneer to the tooth. It is sufficient to scrape the tooth tissue (enamel) in the area to be treated, with an average thickness of 0.3-0.7 mm. Since these veneers are very thin and do not contain metal, they are very aesthetically successful. Porcelain veneers have a unique feature that allows light to pass through, so that the teeth on which they are applied look completely real.

The treatment process is very short. In the first examination, the patient’s measurements are taken using a mold material without cutting the teeth. Using this mold model, a model (rehearsal) is made in the laboratory from a special material. The patient and the dentist have the chance to agree on this three-dimensional model. The teeth are then prepared according to the measurements taken in a short and painless procedure. The dentist gives the patient temporary plastic veneers in the agreed shape and size, so that the patient’s teeth are protected until the actual veneers are placed, which can take several days. The permanent veneers are then placed on the teeth and the procedure is completed. If necessary, additional changes can be made at a later appointment, and materials other than porcelain, such as composite resins, can be used to produce these veneers. Just as with the care of natural, healthy teeth, teeth and gums should be kept clean and healthy after this procedure.

Zirconium Crowns

Zirconium is the highest quality material used in dental aesthetics. Thanks to advances in the science of aesthetic dentistry, every day the use of another metal material in implants is abandoned and replaced by zirconium, which has preferred properties such as a natural appearance, aesthetics and mechanical strength.

Zirconium-porcelain crowns are highly aesthetic for the front teeth and safe for the back teeth. These crowns improve people’s quality of life with the beautiful and attractive smile they provide.

Aesthetic Filling

Having beautiful teeth makes everyone feel confident. Thanks to the bonding properties of aesthetic fillings to the tooth, there is no need to remove excess parts of the tooth to provide support, as with amalgam fillings, and it is only necessary to clean the decay.

After the composite fillings are prepared, they are placed in layers of film, each layer is hardened by a special light. After this process, the composite fillings are shaped and corrected according to the tooth. In the 1960s, these fillings were only applied to the back teeth as filling materials that were resistant to chewing pressures and less abrasive. Later, thanks to the further improvement of the material, they were also applied to the front teeth.

Laser Teeth Whitening

Our dental specialists offer you safe, controlled and painless laser teeth whitening options. The best part is that the results are visible almost immediately. If you have been thinking about whitening your teeth for some time, laser teeth whitening is an unrivaled treatment option.

In addition to fast results, laser teeth whitening is the safest form of whitening because it is performed by a dentist. In the past, patients did not choose to whiten their teeth because of gum and tooth sensitivity. In contrast, our dentists use peroxide gels that do not penetrate your teeth as much as the gels used in the past. Our dentists also use desensitizing agents such as fluoride and potassium nitrate to prevent any potential tooth sensitivity while achieving the best desired results.
